I completed my undergraduate education in the Department of Psychology at İzmir University of Economics, my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Istanbul Arel University, and my PhD in Clinical Health Psychology at Istanbul University in 2018. During my undergraduate studies, I worked as a trainee psychologist in the Psychiatry Clinics of Manisa Celal Bayar University and Dokuz Eylül University. In addition, during this period, I had the opportunity to work in the Department of Psychology at the University of Hertfordshire in England.
While living in Istanbul, I continued my psychotherapy work with various client groups in private clinics in Nişantaşı and Bakırköy. Alongside my clinical work, I continue my academic career as an Assistant Professor at Istanbul Arel University, where I teach clinical courses and provide supervision at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
After completing my PhD, I continued my work in the United States at Virginia Commonwealth University and the University of Michigan Medical School. I am currently practicing as a Mental Health Counselor in Seattle, Washington, where I continue my clinical work and accept new clients. I also provide online therapy services for individuals seeking psychotherapy support.
Among the therapy trainings I have completed are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT).
